Making it work in the workplace by Timeless published on 2016-03-03T10:16:13Z This talk explores the system-wide changes that are needed to support working mothers, and current innovations having an impact in the workplace. Despite some social changes, combining work and motherhood is still a challenge for contemporary women. Apple and Facebook have responded by offering egg freezing in women’s benefits packages, but what other options are there for innovation in the workplace? What’s failing about current systems, and who’s doing anything to improve the status quo for women? With panelists Anne Phillips, Professor of Political and Gender Theory at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Nicki Sprinz co-founder of Ada’s List and Kathryn Nawrockyi, Gender Equality Director at Business in the Community. The panel is chaired by the journalist Yvonne Roberts.
