He was intrigued by that idea, so he dedicated his life to make it happen. He put so much effort into the experiments until he succeeded. He started to travel back and forward in time. He saw all the wonders of the world. He saw love and compassion as well as the cruelty and selfishness of men. He saw both the World's creation as well as the point when it meets its end. After all these overwhelming experiences Oliver returned back to the present time. He felt tired and disillusioned. Since he saw the futility of human existence he felt depressed and there was absolutely no meaning for him to live anymore. Oliver realised very soon that he was locked in his own body and could not die. The travelling through time somehow made him immortal. So he started trying to find a way how to get out of this misery. He was travelling into times he had never been before trying to understand the meaning of life, to find the ultimate truth of whole existence, to relief from his suffering and dissolve into nothingness.
