Heavisyde Heavisyde is an exhilarating Alabama and Texas-based band whose music skids through pop and punk to deliver an electrifying modern rock sound. Using melodic prog guitar riffs, expressive drums and immersive lyricism, Heavisyde creates an unmistakingly upbeat and evocative soundscape. The band’s founding members, guitarist Mason and bassist Brad, met in high school in Calera, Alabama. Their artistic synergy led them through various musical projects culminating into the beloved rock band Heavisyde that includes a rotating cast of vocalists as well as Rion on drums whom they met while living in Austin. Heavisyde’s music is recorded remotely, allowing for an ever-growing roster of vocalists to collaborate on their songs, each adding a distinct flavor atop the band’s signature sound.
