The Rolling Stones Discover America, an Amazon e-book and audio book, is Michael’s eyewitness account of the Stones’ 1969 tour of America that led to the disastrous concert at Altamont. A Yale graduate, Michael has written many books, among them Rock Folk and Ray Charles: Man and Music, the definitive biography. Michael often performs as a singer-songwriter with pianist-composer, Ellen Mandel, and the jazz combo featured on his CD, Love at First Sight.
