Jane Bradshaw Human Wisdom 8 by human wisdom with Tanya Coburn published on 2019-04-26T05:07:59Z Jane Bradshaw is a clinical nurse consultant in hepatology and the branch secretary for Tasmania for the Anthroposophical Society in Australia. I was interested in interviewing Jane when I heard her describe the approach she takes with these patients who suffer liver disease. She talked about her focus on allowing them to tell their stories. In our conversation, Jane explores this further and describes the power of self-reflection and self-care which enables this kind of work. Jane also relates some of the significant turning points and moments of awakening in her personal and spiritual life and pays tribute to a range of spiritual and life teachers. In her working life she practices a kind of micro-activism, through gestures of connection. She sees that care and human interaction are an important part of healing. Encouraged herself to take leadership that she didn’t feel she was up to carrying yet knew was right for her, she encourages us all to act, to find the courage to take up the responsibilities that speak to our hearts.
