Mother of Order Born from shared views and shared politics in September 2018, Mother of Order are not anarcho-folk, they are anarchists who currently play folk music. Their current project is based around the Lancashire Cotton Famine and involves setting some of the poetry of the time and place to their own tunes as well as writing songs based on the people and events of the time. Mother of Order are Martin Hall and Catherine Rogan. They both sing. Martin mainly plays mandola and Catherine, the ukulele, but there are usually several other instruments involved. They are currently recording their debut album.
