MURDER27 Murder 27 Yogykarta MURDER27 is an Indonesian Thrash metal band from Yogyakarta Formed on July, 01 2013, the group was founded by Vocalist Rochmad Gigik Muchtarom and guitarist Wahyu. The current lineup of the band comprises Gigik , drummer Handoko, guitarist Wahyu, guitarist Hasto and bassist Arin. MURDER27 was formed by Gigik, he had band TRASHER on golden age of thrash metal on early and middle 1990. When TRASHER disbanded, he tried formed MURDER27 in 2013 with Wahyu. The band's first album TRIBUTE TO METALLICA, was a band pay tribute to Metallica that influenced. MURDER27’s music crosses multiple genres such as thrash metal,groove metal and heavy metal The band is influenced by thrash metal bands such as Metallica, Sepultura, Exodus, Slayer and Testament, groove metal bands Pantera , but they also have influences from 70's/early 80's metal acts such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Rush and Black Sabbath. On 2014 guitarist Dewo and drummer Apin left the band,The band nearly disbanded in 2015 after bassist Aldi and Drummer Ndoky left the band for some reason. On September, 2015 Wahyu and Gigik decided to find new player and adding guitar player for next movement.They got Hasto a guitarist for EPOS CYCLE that played progressive rock but his passion on thrash metal actually.Then Handoko a session player fill as drummer and Arin fill bass guitar. From November,2015 till now they recording material for next album and hopefully release on end of 2016.
