It's time to bring the Education system out of corporate hands and back into the field experts of education - the teachers. The high stake testing system failed to deliver on its promise made to Virginians 21 years ago: to create a globally competitive workforce. We cannot let the corporate education world shift this failure onto colleges so they can drive the professors out too.

I was an Appalachian guinea pig of the high stake testing system in Virginia before it was adopted into schools. Tracking these tests from all sorts of platforms began my journey of advocacy.
