He considers himself a digital impressionist, producing and releasing singles and videos from his tiny bedroom studio in Madrid, Spain. Robert’s unconventional approach to putting forth singles as opposed to packaging entire albums is similar to being an essayist. He defines his music as being "unapologetically pop".
