Through Glass by sarah.keirle published on 2018-05-14T13:10:13Z Through the glass of telescopes we see the brightness of the universe, so through the sounds of glass we shall experience it also. Our eyes only show us a tiny sliver of the full spectrum of light. Using telescopes, we can experience a wider view of our universe, from radio waves to gamma-ray radiation. The full spectrum, however, is not equally bright. The brightness of the Universe follows a pattern according to wavelength. This data forms the structure of the piece. Each section of radiation has its own sonic identity, but sections are slow-changing, gradual and textural, sometimes almost imperceptible.
