Eursian Poetic Drama trailer feat. Marya Koreneva from Russia by Jun Kawasaki Biologia Music

The Eurasian Poetic Drama Series is a new project by Japanese composer Jun Kawasaki, featuring two singers. This music is to listen deeply the heartbeat from the the invisible ground and water veins of music. The singers of vol.1 and 2 have collaborated with Eurasian Opera Project by Jun Kawasaki Music and Poetic Drama Laboratory since 2016.

Min-a Ji from Korea is a female singer of Korean classic court music. She sings eternal time with deep breathing.
Marya Korneva from Russia is the Diva in the Siberian contemporary music scene. She has amazing technics with theatric expression.

The music created by tracing the ancient layers of traditional music and folklore is reminiscent of Latin American "contemporary art of music" , for example Magic Realism literature. However the music born from the collaboration between the Russia, Central Asia, Korean and Japanese artists is a further evolution.

Auroras voice reaches you from the most transparent lake Baikal

Baikal is the deepest lake in the world . The holy island of indigenous Buryat shamanism is in the lake. Many ethnic groups have lived since ancient times. Here is the center of Eurasian continental. The singer Marya Korneva was born and raised there. She grew up and absorbed various cultures myth and traditional legend. She still lives here, working in the scenes of experimental music, theater and video work.

In 2017, Jun Kawasaki Music and Poetic Drama Laboratory performed on the International folk music festival "Voice of Nomads" held in the grasslands of the Buryat shaman's sanctuary "Tylagan". At that time she collaborated with him for the first time. From then on she has performed as one of soloist on his "Eurasian Opera Project" in Tokyo, Kazakhstan and South Korea.

From the collapse of the USSR to the present, Russian contemporary art scene is still mysterious and peculiar. But the potential of Russia as the multi-ethnic country with a long history is immeasurable. It is also embodied in this female singer living in Siberia. She has an exceptionally diverse range of expressiveness, accurate interpretation of score music, flexible ability of improvisation, and theatrical and poetic sensibilities. The art of her voice that fuses them stands out in the contemporary world music scene.The birth of new Eurasian music was created in collaboration with up-and-coming musicians who are leading Japanese contemporary music. Jun Kawasaki composed arranged with string quartet, electronics, and traditional musical instruments.

Act-2【 The voices of Diaspora】Traditional Korean myths written by Uzbek and Sakhalin poets.

Act-3【Female poets 】About poetical words by 20 century female poets lived in turbulent times.

This album is a collection of Eurasian anthologies singing the words lurking in the earth with the voice of Siren in Baikal lake .
