Creanna CREANNA wurde im Januar 1996 von Emil (Guitar), Matthias (Vocals), Markus ( Guitar /Backing Vocals) und Clunsch (Drums) unter dem Namen „Dark Prophecy“ gegründet. Nach wenigen Proben entstand der erste eigene Song „Unholy Love“. Nach einigen Besetzungswechseln wurde im August 1999 das Demo „Nightfall“ in den Lft – Studios eingespielt. Danach geht es auch Live voran und es folgt eine kleine Tour inklusive einem Slot bei Rock in Schroth und die „Heavy Metal Kaffefahrt“. Mittlerweile existierte eine eigene Homepage, bei der sich das Gästebuch mit positivem Feedbacks füllte. Auch Größen des Metal haben hier Ihre Einträge hinterlassen. Die Rede ist von der finnischen Band Nightwish und Mortician aus den USA. Das nun fertig produzierte Demo wird in der HR3 Sendung Hard ´n Heavy gespielt. Im Februar 2002 gab es einen harten Einschnitt, da sich Emil dazu entschloss die Band zu verlassen. Somit fehlte CREANNA nun eine treibende Kraft und es kam schlussendlich 2006 zur Auflösung. Seit Juni 2015 ist CREANNA nun wieder mit festem Lineup – Matthias (Vocals), Tobias (Drums / Backing Vocals), Sascha (Guitar / Backing Vocals), René (Guitar) und Marc (Bass) – am Start und will den melodischen handgemachten Heavy Metal in die Weiten der Welt hinaus tragen. After a few rehearsals the band created their first song “Unholy Love” In August of 1999 the band switched out some original members and produced the demo “Nightfall” at the LFT Studios. After that they started to play some live shows like “Rock im Schroth” and “Heavy Metal Kaffefahrt”. In the meantime the band created it's own homepage. Lots of positive feedback was provided on the guestbook. Even some big shots of the metal scene (like Nightwish from Finnland & Mortician from the USA) left some notes. The completed demo is being broadcasted on radio channel “HR3 Hard and Heavy“. In February of 2002 Emil (guitarist) decided to leave the band. CREANNA is now without a driving force and in the year of 2006 the band terminated. Since June 2015 CREANNA is back with a new lineup and wants to provide homemade hand crafted Heavy Metal across the globe.
