Hello. I am Dr. Christina Samycia, holistic and spiritual psychologist, and author of The Journey of Discovering Inner Peace. I am excited to share with you the wisdom I have collected on my journey. My newly released book is a comprehensive handbook for self-discovery and emotional healing. Whether you are new on this path or continuing your work, this book will provide you with valuable tools and wisdom to guide you along your journey.
One of the inspirations for writing this book is that my clients frequently ask for book recommendations, which is why I wrote one book that summarizes all that I have learned through my professional and personal experiences. My book is practical, hands-on, easy to read and integrates both theory and practice. It combines psychological theory, spirituality, quantum mechanics, trauma research, eastern philosophical thought, various hands-on exercises and information regarding popular therapeutic modalities. The information illustrated in my book has helped many individuals, including myself, work through feelings of depression and anxiety, as well as assist in healing from chronic health conditions.
As a psychologist, I have found that talk therapy has its limitation. Current research indicates that many of our psychological and physical ailments are rooted in unprocessed trauma, large and small, that is stored within the body. These experiences also shape the beliefs we have about ourselves and the world that aren’t necessarily true.
My book will assist you in getting a better understanding of why they are in pain and some suggestions on how to transcend your suffering by changing conscious thinking, uncovering and changing subconscious beliefs, clearing trauma that is stored within the body and energetically detaching from subconscious programs that are keeping you stuck in dysfunctional patterns.
My book also adds yet another layer of healing by introducing metaphysical and spiritual components. I believe that by connecting to our spiritual selves and understanding why we are here, this can also aid in alleviating our emotional distress.
Here is the philosophy of my book:
Our childhood experiences shape our beliefs about ourselves and the world.
Some of these experiences are accompanied by emotional pain that isn’t fully processed which becomes stored in our body as cellular memory.
In addition to childhood trauma, we have trauma stored in our DNA from our ancestors, parents, and past lives, which also influences our belief systems and amplifies our emotional pain.
However, we have the power to change our belief systems and heal our emotional scars.
My book, both paperback and ebook, are available on my website www.christinapsyd.com, or on most online book retailers such as Amazon.
