Monkey Okay Aalborg ”Everything is improved by the judicious application of primates” – Chris Roberson Monkey Okay is an experimental rock band from Aalborg, Denmark. Their sound can in broad terms be defined as a fusion of psychedelic/stoner/hard rock. The band consists of Jeppe Stephansen (vocals), Mads Siegenfeldt (guitar), Thomas Carlsen (bassguitar), Kristian Berg (drums) and Peter Lund (guitar). The band released their debut album in 2015 and will release the sophomore album in 2020. The band does not attempt to fit into any strict genre definition or musical style, but instead try to encompass whatever sound they feel best conveys the message of any given song - this has lead them to a much more experimental and improvisational way of creating and playing their music.
