1. Milonga Para Los Niños by EL ECO with Guillermo Nojechowicz published on 2017-03-13T01:06:13Z One of the year’s most spellbinding releases. — Mark Holston, JAZZIZ _________________________________________________________________ Milonga Para Los Niños is the first track from Puerto de Buenos Aires 1933. This project was inspired by a remnant of drummer and composer Guillermo Nojechowicz's family history, the passport that his grandmother carried when she fled Warsaw for Argentina in 1933 along with Nojechowicz's father, who was then a small boy. Crossing Europe by train, they left behind everything familiar to face the unknownn Buenos Aires – a trip that spared them from the Holocaust, where so many others in their community later perished. The Latin Jazz Suite that chronicles their long, uncertain journey is the centerpiece of EL ECO's new recording. EL ECO with Guillermo Nojechowicz. Featuring: Helio Alves, Kim Nazarian, Fernando Huergo, Marco Pignataro & Brian Lynch.
