Made for Love Ep 9: Love that is Fruitful in Infertility by USCCBClips published on 2018-04-03T12:42:22Z Infertility is a reality for thousands of Catholic marriages. On this episode of Made for Love: how married couples face the cross of infertility together, and find love through it. Sara and Tom Faenhle, Chris and Emily (nee Stimpson) Chapman, Jen and Mark Crowley of Sarah's Hope and Abraham's Promise, and Connie Poulos from the USCCB are featured on the episode. Genre Storytelling Comment by stitcher73 I have a harsh comment. Emily is 43 years old (or 42?) I would suggest that her infertility is less about true infertility and more about basic biology. There is a world of difference between the 30 year old who is struggling and the 43 year old who has simply aged out of fertility. I realize they married late but perhaps they should have married 15 years ago when they first started dating if having children was so important. 2018-04-05T13:53:38Z Comment by Danielle Block I would love to connect with Sarah - I am also a woman with Turner's and getting ready to start the adoption process with my husband. Such a blessing to listen to this podcast! 2018-04-04T20:29:02Z Comment by Chloe Langr As a woman who's lost a child to miscarriage and is carrying the cross of secondary infertility, this podcast was a life line. Thank you so much for this beautiful witness. 2018-04-04T17:11:22Z Comment by amc Would you be willing to address in a future episode how faithful Catholics can advocate for policy change within their dioceses? I am an employee of my Archdiocese and sought treatment at the closest NFP-only practice, only to discover that my diocese-provided health insurance excludes all coverage for infertility. They will not make an exception for NFP-based treatment. It is, frankly, a scandal to me that my Archdiocese preaches the Church's teaching in words and then puts up obstacles to following Christ's teachings. What would be a faithful Catholic response to this situation? 2018-04-04T12:50:58Z
