We were all waiting for that hit to kick in. We were standing at the crossroads so very many years ago. Robert Johnson was there too. Up jumped the devil! Preacher man blues, shamanistic fools prophesying order. Acting on God’s command, the devil had a different idea. The trickster sang. Acid reigned. When will these fools realize there ain’t no order to craft? I was shocked, stunned, bent my knees to the ground, reached to the sky, prayed to see the future. I asked God to reveal where things were going, what things had come, where was truth, what were lies? He opened the ground. I fell down.
