Some cities, towns or suburbs are a joy. The streets are lined with trees, there's a great park by the water for the kids or dogs to run around in - and then there's that great strip of cafes and eateries. Other places though can make you make you want to get out of them as quickly as possible.What's the difference? Well, it all comes down to good urban planning and design.
