WOWING the World with IYAFA 2022 by FAO published on 2021-06-21T08:01:41Z During World Oceans Week 2021, public attention has been focused on the theme of ‘Life and Livelihoods’. This provided the ideal background for the International Steering Committee (ISC) of the International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IYAFA) 2022 to introduce the world to that year. Hosted by the Peruvian Government, the IYAFA 2022 ISC organised a panel discussion made up of a diverse range of experts and practitioners working in the fields of small-scale artisanal fisheries and aquaculture, each of whom took the opportunity to answer the question: How can we successfully implement the IYAFA Global Action Plan?
