It is whilst playing live that the energy and passion of this multi-tasking maniac takes on its full scope. Alone behind his machines, he holds his own on the stage, as if he were a full-scale fired-up rock band. At the same time guitarist, bassist, drummer, scratcher and singer; this true activist has poured his heart into his machines in order to break down all barriers between the creative process and his lyrics. Fed by such diverse influences as Leo Ferré and Roni Size, or even Hendrix, UNDERGANG delivers a stage show that is at the same time original and impressive. His scratch ability, coupled with the originality of his compositions, has enabled him to share the stage with an eclectic mix of artists, including Asian Dub Foundation, Coldcut, De La Soul, Freestylers, Horace Andy or High Tone. Thanks to his remarkable stage performance, UNDERGANG has managed, in just two short years, to establish himself as one of the rising stars of the French electronic music scene.
