Dogmatik’s Alex Arnout makes a stellar return to highly promising Turquoise Blue label this September with the ‘Science Friction’ EP.
Turquoise Blue recently released the undeniably on point ‘Sound-Byte’ EP by Alex Arnout, which garnered huge support from the likes of Huxley, Clive Henry, Ryan Crosson, Damian Lazarus and Kate Simko. Arnout is a highly respected member of the underground house community having brought Maya Jane Coles career to fruition through the dogmatik imprint as well as becoming a ‘go-to’ engineer within the industry.

‘This Way’ closes the release, again relying on punchy drums as its driving force with a raw 909 swing, the tonal toms make for a bouncy playful feel, while bright piano stabs and synth chords take it in to deeper territories. Arnout has a knack for manipulating vocal cuts and exploiting them to their full potential within underground house, this is superbly displayed throughout ‘Science-Friction’ and stands as a testament to the London based artist’s infectious productions techniques.
