Tummler & Solomon Tummler Solomon Tacoma Emerging from Washington State, Tummler and Solomon combine a commanding ethereal energy with heavy, resonant, stoner metal riffs to create their own, unique style of Sci-Fi influenced metal. Tummler and Solomon are not your typical black-clad doom metal band – they aim to redefine the metal scene as we know it by combining ethereal energy and heavy, resonant riffs into more sound than a three piece should be capable of. Formed in 2011, by guitarist Lord Paul Lyon and drummer Austin Iverson the band got off to a steady start creating their first several songs. 2014 addition, bassist and organist, Matt Abramson, added a creative boost for their first debut album. With the help of producer, Matt Bayles, “You’ve Worn Out Your Welcome” was released in March of 2014. Since their recent release, Tummler and Solomon have built up a solid reputation as one of the most heavy and transcendental bands the Northwest has to offer. With heavy inspiration from bands like Black Sabbath, Sleep, Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, and Pallbearer as well as counter-culture favorites such as Kubrick films, the Pet Sounds album, Philip K. Dick, and Terrence McKenna, the album has quickly become a stoner-doom metal staple for the Pacific Northwest. Noted as a “stunning ... highly talented rock collective” by Sludgelord’s Steve Howe and a sound described as “... a warm and inviting feel… it’s a combination that works extremely well” – by CosmosGaming’s Chris Dahlberg, Tummler and Solomon has become a sought after artist touring the metal circuit.
