No two brains are exactly alike. Therefore, no two brains interpret information in exactly the same way. Now consider for a moment that the same concept also holds true for the interpretation of music... Have you ever wondered just what exactly your significant other finds so appealing in their musical selection of choice? Through the use of interconnected neuro-scanning helmets, dubbed Audial-Specters, or A-SPEX for short, you are now offered a technological glimpse into someone else’s musical reality. It has been recorded on an ancient 20th century analog format, referred to as the cassette tape. FamSung fears competitors are able to easily hack and reverse-engineer data stored on a digital format. This is not the case with information recorded onto an analog tape. On December 11th 2079, using the neuro patterns of A.J. Tublushi, a user of illegal cannabinoids or – Junk – the first A-SPEX samples were successfully extracted in conjunction with 100-year-old Eastern samples from the 1980’s, his apparent genre of choice. Tublushi was seized in the public terminal of the Neo-Pyongyang Interstellar Landing Dock in North Korea, unresponsive in Wash-Box c90. It was determined with a 94% chance of probability that Tublushi was a Junk-user based on his decayed eyelids and missing fingernails. Tublushi was chosen specifically because it was believed his Junk-induced mind would skew the music in interesting ways.
