Lyrical Rough Draft:
they askin' why I write, righteous rhymes...
I ain't wit' dat' trouble music...
why I am speaking spiritual all the time...
there's not enough that want to do it...
this my calling I must use it...
a gift from GOD I can't abuse it...
they askin' why I write, righteous rhymes...
I'm tired of all this carnal music!
----
I got love for the people...
but every time you tryna' stream a song, it's the same, kind...
being subtle with evil...
my ears so tired of hearing it but to keep you down-it plays all the time
I'm just trying to keep you...
to keep you on the path of righteousness so you won't get left behind...
cuz of sin HE will leave you...
so get away from sinful people they don't know that their souls dying...
songs are for the spiritual, in times like this must hear 'bout You...
when the Holy Ghost is hittin you, your words just move convicting you...
let melodies comes visit you, from heaven, they were missing you...
when there's nothing to listen to, just sing a song to GOD that's true

----
I'm tired of hearing the same thing...
money, cars, guns, drugs, women that is all you hear...
it's not good, for your brain...
cuz when you hear you think about it, then you do it, now you there...
doing the same thing...
the song, said, what is that, now you caught up in a jam...
well at first, you had sang...
along, with the song, knew you was wrong, but you didn't give a damn...
evil songs don't sound that well, it's just a spell to bring you hell... [you through]
how deep it goes? no I can't tell, cuz I'm deep like a coin in a wishing well [on this truth]
listening for substance I'm not listening to it just-because it's new...
I'm sticking to these righteous rhymes like masking tape that's stuck to super glue
----
if humpty dumpty...
came out with a song...-
that said climb up a bridge...
and then jump down...
(would you do it...[repeat] ... ... no)
