Troyka and Troyka Mala Bristol Troyka formed in Bristol in 2008 and have been bringing Balkan Heart Music to Bristol ever since. Still going strong in 2025, they recently recorded music for Surviving Earth - a feature film by Thea Gajic about her dad, and Troyka founder Vladimir Gajic, who passed away in 2015. Troyka now play in various formations including Troyka Mala, their contemporary post classical trio which indulges their love of intricate three-part chamber style arrangements. Mala showcases a selection of soulful Balkan, Eastern European and Middle Eastern music, alongside an expanding collection of Liam’s (My Octopus Mind, Leeem) original compositions, which take a playful approach to these influences. Misty Minds (Autumn 2025) is Troyka's 4th EP since 2009.
