John Katon james ( REAL NAME JOHN KATON ) Hardinge- Cornwall Exeter Solo performer and composer at present and based in Devon for the time being. have played in 3 semi pro bands, namely The Triffiks (AKA The Triffiks Organisation) The Triffiks were a "show" band doing mainly covers, including a lot of Tamla Motown and songs by bands like The Who, The Move , based in West Sussex, Big Bertha was a "heavy Metal band and I shared lead and rythem guitar, we specialised in original songs and those by The Cream ( we did a marvellously haevy version of "Eleonor Rigby" and "The Price of Love". My top "idol" has got to be Mike Oldfield. Ive had tons of busking experience inclusing the South bank in London and for a couple f years Glastonbury Town, Sommerset. Im an ex Fringe Theatre technical Stage Manager and have composed background music for some productions including the unusually titled" The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, as told to Carl Jung at the Broadmoor Asylum " IM LOOKING FOR A DECENT FEMALE VOCALIST AND SOMEONE TO COLLABORATE WITH ON LYRICS My cousin whom I havent seen since the mid fifties is Kevin McNeil and Kev was a founder member of of a NewZealand Band called "The Mods" and they had a hit in NZ and AUSTRALIA with a song called Love Love Love, Kevin has recently released an album called "Back In 64" and has been a televison announcer and recording artist based in Aukland. he has teamed up with a NZ female vocalist calle ABBIE Calagher .IM ALSO TRYING TO FIND OUT THE NAME OF THE GUITAR PIECE I CALL "MASQUERADE" IT WAS BACKGROUND MUSIC TO A TELEVISION DOCUMENTARY ABOUT KIT WIKLLIAMS AND HIS AMAZING PUZZLE BOOK " MASQUERADE" I TAPED IT AND LEARNT THE MELODY.IF ITS ANY HELP THERE WERE "FAIRY LIKE" TWINKLING BELLS IN BACKGROUND.
