Tribal Scream Praia Grande Tribal Scream is a thrash/death metal band formed by vocalist Vitor Rodrigues and guitarist Mauricio Nogueira, considered two of the best musicians of the rock/metal scene in Brazil. As members of the Brazilian band Torture Squad, Vitor Rodrigues and Mauricio Nogueira composed and recorded the album ‘Pandemonium’, considered one of the best Brazilian metal albums of all times. They won Wacken Metal Battle 2007, were signed by Wacken Records and released the also highly praised ‘Hellbound’ in 2008. After leaving Torture Squad in 2008 and 2012 respectively, Mauricio Nogueira and Vitor Rodrigues joined forces to give birth to Tribal Scream in 2020. With the releases of a self- entitled EP in 2020 and the album ‘Sacred Legacy’ in 2021, Tribal Scream revealed again that creativity, musicality and power abound when the two composers work together, as it was shown in ‘Pandemonium’ and ‘Hellbound’. The band is now touring around Brazil promoting ‘Sacred Legacy’. Besides featuring the songs of the EP and the album, they are playing the album’ Pandemonium’ in its entirety. THE MUSICIANS With a solid carrer built on six albums released, Vitor Rodrigues has played hundreds of shows in venues and festivals all around the world, including festivals like Wacken Open Air 2007, 2008 and 2011, Metal Mania 2009, and toured with Exodus and Overkill. He left Torture Squad in 2012 and with his new band Voodoopriest, the vocalist released a self-entitled EP and ‘Mandu’ , a conceptual album about a Brazilian native hero. With his powerful and melodic vocals alternating bass growls and high pitch vocals and a captivating live performance, Vitor Rodrigues has been building a reputation as one of the best metal vocalists in Brazil. Mauricio Nogueira started his career with death metal band Krisiun and joined Torture Squad in 2002. His killer riffs and tasty solos granted him the prize of Best Guitarist of Wacken Metal Battle 2007. After leaving Torture Squad in 2008, he joined rock band Matanza and played in important music festivals in Brazil like Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza.
