Trevor began his composing journey in 1991 by attending Berklee College of Music’s film scoring program. After graduating with a BA in 1994, He went on to score industrial and promotional films for such companies as Aegis Insurance and the pharmaceutical company, Merck & Company. With the desire to write for larger productions in TV and film, he moved to L.A. in 1996 and worked for a small post-production company. Creating and editing sound effects for shows such as “Silk Stalkings” and “Pensacola, Wings of Gold,” he began to develop a broad understanding of how different sound elements worked in relationship to music. With this knowledge and a good technical foundation he began to assist and compose with various film and TV composers.
In 2005, he launched the company, SIC Music, focusing on the writing of original underscore not only for film and television but video games and other interactive media as well. SIC Music also records and mixes tracks for other local indie artists and is also involved with the production of tracks for various music production libraries. In 2010, Trevor formed the band, Sound In Chaos, focusing on music that falls in the more introspective, singer-songwriter genre. Sound In Chaos is currently writing songs for it’s first EP.
Trevor's music can be heard in several Saturday morning Educational/Entertainment series on CBS and The CW and has been composing music for a multitude of other reality shows throughout many cable networks. On top of that, he composes music for popular music catalogs such as Would Work Sound and Megatrax.
