This week sees Italian duo, Armonica grace the airwaves for the latest edition of our Traxsource LIVE! mix series.

Armonica - made up of Andrea and Salvatore, the charismatic duo from Riccione, have been a driving force in the industry for the last few years now. After meeting through their residency at the notorious Cocorico club, they soon formed a close friendship and decided to amalgamate their musical projects together under the Armonica moniker!

They’re a pair with their finger on the pulse of all things Afro House, with previous releases on some of the scene’s most renowned imprints - MoBlack, Connected Frontline, RADIANT. and Madorasindahouse. Most recently they’ve been flying the flag for Defected with their remix of Fela Kuti’s ‘International Thief Thief (I.T.T)’, a collaborative effort with MoBlack that was recently made available at Traxsource.com

For us they’ve mixed 60 minutes of an all-out afro masterclass, uniting the sounds of Tunnelvision, Adana Twins, Affkt, The Organism and much more. They’re referred to as ‘ebony and ivory in a piano, always search for the best chord for the moment’ so do yourself a favor today and take a listen to the superb sounds of Armonica.
