Why I can no longer cover Titan Souls by TotalBiscuit published on 2015-04-15T00:08:17Z Twitter is the worst. Due to the actions of the games artist, I cannot ethically cover Titan Souls because of the negative bias that his insults have introduced. I'm not going to take the risk of creating a video and having any negative criticism I might have for the game attributed to the fact that the artist went out of his way to personally insult me over social media. This is especially pertinent since the studio sent me a key for review over a week ago. Sorry Titan Souls devs, I can't look at your game anymore, it would be unethical. If he were to spend a lot of time slamming the game in his video, it would be seen as a reaction to a slight, even if that were not the case. If he were to spend a lot of time praising it, especially after personally criticizing it on Twitter, it would be seen as him trying to do damage control. Basically, Gleeson locked him into a no-win situation. Deciding not to cover the game is the only way to avoid accusations of bias which could hurt his reputation as a content-creator. Also, I'm pretty sure Gleeson wasn't poking "a bit of fun". Dude's talked shit on him in the past.
