Elvis - I've Got A Feeling In My Body (Tommie Sunshine & Wuki Remix) by tommiesunshine

When Ultra/RCA/Sony asked me to do this I knew Wuki had to be my wingman. I've loved all the music Wuki has been making & I knew that together we could come up with something next level. After a trip to Denver to work in the Wuki-lair & methodical precision revisions, I believe that we certainly have.

Working with the original recording session of Elvis is nothing short of a psychedelic experience. Hearing his vocals by themselves was a window into how incredible of a singer he truly was.

We decided to take this in down to a low-slung groove that is reminiscent of Parliament/Funkadelic or Talking Heads & since this was originally recorded in 1973 at Stax Studios in Memphis with the incredible sessions players hired there at the time, I could hear the potential for the transformation we inevitably took this through.

This is the first time anyone has heard this so enjoy!
