Tom Elstob Tom Elstob Cardiff Tom is a multi-instrumentalist composer, sound designer and performer. He has written music for film, theatre, circus and releases albums under the name “The Idol Rich”. He lives in Cardiff with his wife, daughter and two cats. Tom has written original scores for the Wales Millennium Centre; The Lyric Hammersmith; The Egg (Theatre Royal Bath); The Bristol Old Vic; Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts and collaborated with artists including Likely Story Theatre; Mary Bijou Cabaret & Social Club; Pins & Needles; Pirates of The Carabina; Greg Wohead and many more. He was awarded a professional development grant from Arts Council Wales in 2014. Tom doesn’t like talking about himself in the third person. He is currently 36. (this may change.)
