The Song of the Grass

Since 1997, Friskeröd's farm has been run with the aim of creating a free zone for individuals of all species who for various reasons have not been able to adapt to systems based on subordination. The activity is non-profit and is primarily about developing a non-hierarchical coexistence between different species and individuals as well as between man and the surrounding nature. The basic idea is that every individual has the right to exist for his own sake.

The Song of the Grass is a collection of Emelie Cajsdotter’s memories of encounters and conversations with various animals, among them the thoroughbred horses of Jordan's royal stable that are seen as spiritual guides.

Emelie invites us to the farm in person, or by listening this recorded stories, to help us come back to our true self, and coexist, with all individuals and nature in the web of life.
