As a composer, performer and educator, German is involved in various music projects including his own solo instrumental rock project, teaching at Berklee College of Music and the Los Angeles Music Academy, writing articles and books for major publishing companies such as MelBay and Alfred. He also developed an advanced Rock Guitar course on “Shredding Techniques” for the National Guitar Workshop’s online school “WorkshopLive.com.” German writes the popular monthly guitar column "Instant Shredding" in Germany's biggest guitar magazine "Gitarre & Bass." He is a 5 time (2004-2008) recipient of the ASCAP Plu$ Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The July 2008 Issue of Guitar World Magazine listed German as one of the fastest Guitarist of all time (14 notes per second). A resident of Los Angeles, German is active in the local music scene as a performer, composer, producer and musical director.
