Treega - Faro (TDR015A) by The Dreamers Recordings published on 2017-10-12T10:24:29Z After releasing his first single “Coconut/Bit Kid” on The Dreamers exactly one year ago, Treega locked himself in the studio. Nightcore EP is the result of that work: an evolution of his unique sound. The Dreamers is proud to present another 100% Italian release, which shows once again how the drum and bass scene is quickly evolving in that country. If you’re looking for an innovative take on drum and bass, with clear footwork and electronic influences, Treega is the man to keep an eye on. Nightcore EP is made of 6 tracks: “Faro” opens the EP with an evolving beat, “Fly on man” has an intricate yet groovy mood, “Bang” is a banging halfstep track, “Nightcore” gives the name to the EP and perfectly represents Treega’s skills and tastes, “Dirty boy” will shake every dancefloor with his bass, while “Tech no” closes the EP with an eclectic beat made on 808 and 909. One thing we liked about Treega is that his tracks are always evolving, so listen to them from start to finish! TREEGA BIO: Benoit Trigari, also known as Treega, was born in Milan in a family of musicians. He played different instruments like bass guitar, violin and piano, that will be his principal instrument. At the age of eleven he got close to hip hop making little beats for his friends. After having explored dubstep, progressive electronic, techno and trip hop he deepened his interest in the drum n bass scene. In parallel, he founded a duet with his friend Giacomo Carlone, aka Made to Measure. With this project he has made numerous remixes and instrumentals for the italian rap scene, playing live sets and producing in the studio. He has also collaborated with Diego Palazzo, a well known electro pop Italian songwriter, and has opened concerts for Clap! Clap!. While composing jazz and classical music with the piano, he has grown a passion for the dance music scene and the jazzy funk sounds of Max Graef and Glenn Astro, for the halftime and footwork rhythms, and has developed a real obsession for the bass. He has then decided to begin a solo project in a different musical world, with fast breaks and syncopated drum kits.
