The songs were written, performed and recorded by Jon Latimer over the period from approximately 2001 to 2003. It then sat for about a year until future Aimless member Rosie Steffy convinced Latimer to "release" the tracks as a CD, which then caught the attention of the other individuals who would form the rest of the band.
