My name's Jaime Flor, and I'm a singer/songwriter. My main instrument is the guitar, and I'm a tenor. However, lately, I've been coming up with most of my new ideas, and songs, on either a piano, or through a recording program plus a MIDI keyboard.
At the moment, I'm composing music on my own, but I've been in 4 projects since 2008. Unfortunately, none of these groups worked out in the long run. I find it incredibly difficult to find musicians that are good, creative, patient, and dedicated to making music. If they are, most of the time, they're already in a decent band.
So my plan's to keep composing music on my own, until I can find some musicians that are just as passionate about composing, and playing original music as I am. My ideal lineup, includes both male, and female musicians. I listen to a lot of bands that have both male, and female vocals. So it would be nice to collaborate with a female instrumentalist that's willing to sing backup vocals, or wants to share, or trade off as the lead vocalist.
Newer bands that come to mind, which are similar, would be Arcade Fire, The Naked and Famous, The Joy Formidable, Postal Service, and Silversun Pickups. Zwan, which had Billy Corgan on lead vocals, and Paz Lenchantin on backup vocals, was another band that I liked. Even A Perfect Circle, when Paz Lenchantin played bass, had some cool songs with her on backup, or lead vocals. Older bands that I can think of, would include My Bloody Valentine, The Pixies, Sugarcubes, and the Smashing Pumpkins. I guess I could even include Fleetwood Mac, which would be the oldest band that I can think of with 2 female vocalists, & 1 male.

Good quality sound... It's definitely inspiring me to further evolve when it comes to my own songwriting.

Ooh.., I like that 1st change, and the Boomerang metaphor's pretty cool. Alright, Nina, I'll follow you. Btw, awesome outro!
Just heard a bit of this on YouTube. I'll definitely be around to check out some more tracks.
Thinking back on it, I always liked your bass playing...
I like catchy simple main riff in contrast to the verses, which are very progressive. Bringing back the guitar solo!
