Los Angeles
The Quarantined is a rock band from Los Angeles, CA. Led by lead singer/guitarist, Sean Martin, drummer Kaspars Grinbergs, and Alex Diaz on bass, The Quarantined is a band successfully mixing a wide range of influences like Hard rock, metal, rap, grunge, 90's rock, Classic rock, and reggae, they truly are masters of a new genre-crushing musical act.
Sean, Kaspars, and Alex started off working up and refining a unique sound in a friends' home studio, and had many different friends jam with them, on 2nd guitar and bass, to help develop the sound and songs. They recorded a half live, half studio track EP entitled "Where did you Go?", released independently on CD Baby and Itunes in 2012. Sean Kaspars, and Alex Diaz solidified the lineup as a trio soon after, and began to write and create a full length album. They began crowd testing singles thru internet promotion while playing live around Los Angeles. In early 2014, they began working with Ace Media Clique to develop, promote, and produce two 5-song EPs.
Sean, Kaspars, and Alex all come from varying backgrounds, and bring unique influences to the music they make from their wide array of life experiences that comes from all three striving after their goals in their own ways.
Sean served in the US Army from 2004-2007, in Iraq in 2006-2007. Singing and playing guitar since 12 years old, he is a Musician's Institute graduate in Guitar performance/Music industry studies. He is co-producing The Quarantined and moonlights as studio musician, actor, and music consultant for bands and films.
By crossing band centric genres created by bands like Rage Against the Machine (rap and metal), Sublime (Reggae and punk rock), Jimi Hendrix (rock and Psychedelia) and Nirvana (Grunge and popular rock), The Quarantined has broken all barriers, broken all preconceived notions of where hard rock music can go in a digital era. Organic and accessible, defined yet versatile, The Quarantined is exactly what it is, while being exactly not what you expected.
