In 2012 Luke was a rookie astronaut at the Great Britain Space Centre and Robert was the Mission controller, their paths crossed when they were on a top secret mission. The mission cannot be spoken about obviously, however rumour has it that Luke and Robert were abducted by space aliens and had weird and obscure tests conducted on them. When Luke and Robert were transported back to Earth with nothing but vivid memories, they knew they had been somewhere and that Earth would take them back. Needless to say, in the morning the Pilots were born. Since that day the Pilots have been on the run from these aliens and have never looked back.
