The Uni-Verse is made out of stories.
The stories we’ve been told and the stories we tell to ourselves, create the vibe on the dancefloor of our life.
Every culture and tradition has its own stories.
And the oldest stories told, are in form of songs and music...
My story is about bringing people and cultures together, through music and celebration!
The Music Medicine is a path, a way through which I learned to experience and share music in my life.
It is a living & ongoing experience through which I explore, study & share a wide range of music, sound & frequency-based approaches, schools of thought & practices, blending and influenced by tradition & modernity, spiritualism & science, celebration & meditation.
I use music as a stimulus to:
a. Bring people & cultures together
b. Awaken creative potential
c. Foster harmony and joy
d. Share information and practices of healing, through frequency and sound
e. Educate about the usage of music and its history
f. Build community & long-lasting relationships through the most ancient way of expression & storytelling.
📜🧙🏻♂️ ABOUT DIMITRIOS
Born and grown inside an environment of music, celebration and art, I was inspired to follow and dive into those paths and today I count 3 decades of bringing people together through music!
From event & festival organization, Djing, music therapy/healing, instrumentation, music production & curation, workshop & experiences facilitation, orchestration, medical & ethnomusicology research, podcasting & radio hosting, I wore many different hats in the world of music, simply because of my curiosity and of course... my love for this language!
After all these years, my thirst to learn & listen, to explore and create, has not quenched.
My path in music has shown me that this is indeed the one form of expression and creation that is bringing everything and everyone together in one uni-verse.
The connections and bonds I have developed, the long-lasting relationships, the knowledge, joy, happiness and pleasure I have experienced by talking and sharing music, are - by far - until today, the most precious gift I have received and that, eventually, became the medicine I carry with me!
