Songs Of Our Friends by The Lyric Feature

Now in its 26th year the Inishowen International Folk Song & Ballad Seminar, organised by the Inishowen Traditional Singers’ Circle was founded to promote the singing of the Inishowen peninsula and has grown into the leading event in the unaccompanied singing calendar welcoming visitors from around the world.

The programme examines this vibrant living tradition and savours the atmosphere of a festival of spontaneous interaction and performances that generate a unique cultural experience.
Contributors include Grace Toland, Brian Doyle and Kevin McGonigle members of the Irish Traditional Music Archive and the Inishowen Traditional Singers’ Circle.
