I really don't belong anywhere in particular, I live "at large".
I was moved around a lot as a child, and continued to keep moving around through most of my adult life as well.
I've maintained my youthfulness through rejection of social propaganda,a "screw That" attitude and a minimalist/bohemian lifestyle.
I do not have kids, so I continue to be somewhat of an "Ancient Teenager".
I was here on the Planet listening to AM radio when Rock n Roll was being invented and I have listened to and dug a lot of sounds since then. Most of my friends growing up and now are musicians and artists. I flunked out of "Garage Band 101 on an F cord at 17, so I stuck with my hand drums,
(should have taken up the Bass, damn it!)
I like a lot of very different music, we own a "mother load " of cd s ,cassettes, and a fair pile of vinyl, now I'm collecting music on computer too.
My wife and I run a small informal art gallery in Orange Beach Alabama, e have various tunes playing there all of the time. We've sold some small label music , but deals are not that easy to get , Basin Street Records is really the only company we've been able to sell, mostly we buy from Indie artists.
We take a lot of trips over to NOLA and have musician and other friends there, and the music venues are really cool old joints largely.
I would like very much to expand our art business into promoting on a professional level, but not yet. I am not $$$ capable of Producing or Organizing shows , so for now I'll just be happy to spread some music around as best I can. Lately I've been plugging performers I like on FB, and sharing on My_, and SG a good bit too. I think it helps because I get a lot of thanks, so I'll keep it up.
I may guts up and try turning some of my completely unprofessional and not very disciplined percussion and or vocals on here. Next to our Gallery there is a music shop with a small recording studio, I may eventually use it when i can afford to. I love the music scene and have enjoyed being around it all my life, and that's about the size of it. NOTE: this profile has been updated and refined on 11/24/11, the facts remain the same, I do not deal in Persona , I am really always what I say I am, be it a curse or a blessing, I'm a "Crazy old Rock n Roll Man" (/ song of same title/ Bill Chinock).
