The Hypnogryph Jason Keen, CCHt San Luis Obispo As a coach who uses hypnosis in my work with clients, it is often my job to guide people into trance spaces, and hold open the doors of transformation for them to walk through. There are many ways to do this of course, including ways that don't involve comfy chairs in clinical offices. Some of the most overlooked are those that have their roots in bare-footed stomps in the dirt, around community bonfires. Dance music can be transformative and empowering. It's hypnotic by nature and we should use it to release and empower ourselves. It's a perfect way to bypass the rigidity of the thinking mind and it's my main mode of creative expression. Through dance music and movement, we can uncover and release what doesn't belong to us within, and we can discover and integrate deeper layers of who we really are.
