The Phoenix, Arizona band consists of vocalist Travis Kenny, guitarist Mark Harrison, bass guitarist Paul Perron, and drummer Rikki “Stixx” Rodinis. Whether it’s playing shows, in five cities, in five nights; or zipping up to the high country of Flagstaff to play into the wee hours of the night, these four Renaissance men are always on the move.
The Glides not only know where they are going, but have a rock solid history that put them here today. With two feet solidly in indie rock, the band seamlessly juggles elements of dancehall, blues, punk, grunge, and a taste of retro 50’s rock to create their alternative, retro, grooves.

The Glides fan base has been rapidly growing since the debut of their first single “One Time (Ms. Gadway)” live on Radio Phoenix in February of 2016. The Glides caught the eye of and opened for award winning, international blues artist, Bex Marshall for two shows in December of 2015. In June of 2016, The Glides and Bex, reunited for a one night only follow-up show, at The Rhythm Room in downtown Phoenix.
The guys are on a mission to take their road-tested, fresh sound to brand new audiences all up and down the west coast. The Glides took their power, groovin sound outside the state of Arizona for the first time on their 2016 summer tour. Promoting the upcoming release of their first EP The Glides (Self Titled), the tour kicked off in San Diego and went all the way up the California coast as far north as Quincy. Returning to Arizona in August, the band capped off a busy summer with appearances at classic venues including Yucca Tap Room in downtown Tempe, and the historic Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff.
October 15th, 2016 will mark the official release of The Glides (Self Titled) EP, with an album release party and concert at Fuego Bistro in downtown Phoenix. The release date will correspond with the release of the band’s fourth single “Blo Diddley” on ReverbNation where they currently have a stranglehold on the #3 position on the local chart.
Gearing down after the summer tour and CD release, the band is focusing on writing new, original material. The guys are looking forward to getting back into the studio to record their first full length LP soon, and have also begun work on their first music video. With hot new upcoming tracks like “Go, Go, Go”, “Next One”, and “Get Some” these guys are sure be a force to be reckoned with on the local, and national music scene for the foreseeable future.
