The Fairchilds Cyril Niccolai Los Angeles The Fairchilds is a rock band formed by lead singer/songwriter Cyril Niccolai, in 2010. The first album "Our Revolution", released in October 2011, received critical acclaim both in Europe and in the US. To promote the album The Fairchilds embarked on a world tour as headliners or opening for bands like Keane, Dashboard Confessional and Stereophonics. "Our Revolution", combines bold, winning melodies with a broad perspective of the world and an unerring sense of uplift. Buoyed by cutting edge British producer Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift), justice, hope and promise are recurring themes. The first single, “Unbreakable”, is a poignant commentary on the pursuit of one’s dreams against all odds. The music video reached number one in Japan. The second single, “High”, featured rock guitarist sensation Orianthi and was re-mixed by renowned producer Mark Endert. “High”, a song about the rush of feelings from the discovery of a new love, the sting of heartbreak or the like, is underpinned by the theme of hope. The past 4 years have had a major impact on Niccolai’s songwriting process. His emigration from Paris to LA, the discovery of America while promoting the album across the country as well as recent world events have profoundly coloured the new collection of songs. Having initiated a very special journey, The Fairchilds and Jim Lowe are excited to push their artistic collaboration further on their second album and look forward to inviting listeners to join them.
