@omar-atassi-267246623: btw Simmons talks all the time about smart decisions. Do you think he built his fan base by doing pods like this one? I doubt food connoisseurs are rushing to Bill Simmons show to listen to this. His fanbase is built on NBA and Boston fans. Really smart to alienate those people in order to gain other folks.

@bigrichard-1: I'm all for him doing pods about other stuff. Did you notice that there is one of the marquee NBA series going on in OKC-SAS and Bill has said zilch about it. Back in the day when he used to also give an article that would be one thing. Now the guy doesn't owe me anything. I'll listen to him no matter what he puts out but I just think he should stop acting like he is the authority on the NBA when he barely shares his views on the playoffs. I feel like now he just gives his hot takes on things and makes fun of shows like First Take. Yet he says stuff all the time like "the cavs will implode" or "Durant should go to Miami". Not to mention this guy does at least 2 podcasts a week talking about the NFL. His favorite sport is the NBA.

I am not into sports only but please keep doing what you are good at, Bill. I really like what you are doing but don't get too far away from your actual strengths which are sports and pop culture. I'd rather listen to a movie podcast like you did about Heat a few months ago than listening to Mr Chang (who seems really nice) and you talking about food. That is so fucking boring for a podcast. After the hilarious podcast with Michael Rapaport this is total downer.

Bill Simmons is so worldly, so diversified, so intelligent, so deep. Finance, technology, food, television production. Can he do a show on bookmark technology? I can no longer find him bookmarked on my browser? Where has he gone? Fuck Bill K-Mart Simmons! Works 2 hours a week on product and serves this crap up. Why did he get a show to begin with, I have forgotten?
