That's the Reader's Digest version of a wild romp into the world of the alien Prince Remo from Planet Vegas (made up!) in the Vega Star System (real!) and the lovely young Jenna Jenkins, an aspiring singer/songwriter living outside Nashville Tennessee. When young Prince Remo sneaks into his father's quarters and views a video monitor of Jenna playing her guitar and singing on a low quality public access TV broadcast out of Nashville, which was intercepted by his father's security service, he is smitten by her beauty. With an arranged marriage in the works, among other things involved in being next in line to the throne.....Remo decides it's time to blow Planet Vegas in favor of Planet Earth and... Nashville, Tennessee, where he hope to find his Jenna and have some FUN...all of which is forbidden on his home planet. "COSMIC COWBOY" is the funniest, most campy musical screenplay since 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'. But instead of the humans entering the alien world (Dr. Frankenfurter et al)....the alien (Prince Remo) is entering the human world of Jenna Jenkins, her father Hank, her younger brother Robbie and Jenna's conniving, self centered, manipulative and greedy boyfriend/music manager, Lance Dalton. When Remo's flying saucer crashes during a lightening storm while chasing Jenna and Lance in their pickup truck after a club date in Nashville.....Jenna is compelled to bring the unconscious alien back to her father's barn, where she lives....against Lance's wishes. When her father discovers a weird looking character in his barn that night, the quick witted Jenna names him "Alan Grey" a performer from...Las Vegas...instead of Planet Vegas....of course this double entendre plays out during the course of events. Obviously, no proper alien comedy would be complete without 'men in black'. This is where the fun begins. With 9 fully produced, master studio quality, campy and sometimes beautiful love songs, COSMIC COWBOY is bound to become an instant classic.
