The trip was done 3 times, 10 days in total, from mid december 2010 to late january 2011. During the field trip, as much as I was pleased by the nature itself in which I tried to go deeper with sounds into its poetic and dreamy scenery, I was also deeply inspired by the people that who accompanied me on the trip: their exquisite sense of nature, extensive knowledge on ecosystem, passionate attitude which made them risk to get closer to the nature, their unique aesthetics and strict process to collect the sample. So, I made this album as a sonic impression that i had from the trip and at the same time, personal audio documentary of it, so to say. The trip was under wildlife documentary workshop organized by eco-science department at Ewha Women’s University. A very special thanks to Dongguen Lim who allowed me to join this amazing trip.
