“Superodd ballad that’s as appealing as it is ambitious”
Or appealing because it’s so ambitious. Operatic in the vein of some of hip-hops biggest egos but not at all hip-hop in sound or style but an odd if enigmatically (inexplicably) engaging quasi-dirge that’s supposedly an introduction to a “new kind of superhero,” one who emerged from the tragedy of 9/11, “for whom the lines between good and evil are blurred, is he friend? Is he foe?” he is: DragonMan.

Full epic sound orchestral pop version of "DarkSide Of Heaven" which was newly recorded. Title song for DragonMan.
A New Superhero for our times. The amazing story of DragonMan was born at the dawn of the 21st Century, when the world, about to change forever, watched in disbelief as four passenger airliners crashed, not only into buildings and a field in Shanksville Pennsylvania, but into the American certainty that the horrors of the outside world could not touch them at home.
It was into this world that a new kind of superhero emerged, one for whom the lines between good and evil are blurred. Is he friend? Or is he foe? No one knows for sure. What they do know, however, is that as a friend there is no one better.
"DarkSide Of Heaven"
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands.
I’m at battle, I’m at war.
I'm a dangerous kind of man.
Fear real in empty dreams.
I see it, feel it, touch my mind.
There’s nowhere I can hide from these savage feelings deep inside.
Fighting, always fighting.
The shadows in my head.
If it’s real, this fear I feel, then heaven help those who see my dark side.
I gotta get back to yesterday.
Cuz I'm slippin’ away fast to the dark side of heaven.
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands
I got their blood on my hands
My dark side sees, my dark side knows.
I'm a dangerous kind of man.
Wishing always brought me close to magic lands.
But I can’t be no superman.
Always in disguise.
I look through savage eyes.
Savage eyes tell sweet lies.
The fear, the rage, that haunts my mind.
Always in disguise.
I gotta get back to yesterday.
Cuz I’m slippin’ away fast to the dark side of heaven.
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands.
I got their blood on my hands.
I’m at battle, I’m at war.
Love is my heart’s only defender.
And in my mind, I know, I can never surrender.
Cuz I'm a dangerous kind of man.
But I’m no superman.
I got their blood on my hands
I got their blood on my hands
Imm Critiques for Social Media:
A vocal and orchestral arrangement that delivers a redemptive emotion, musically.
With a strong intro, "DarkSide Of Heaven" delivers emotion as soon as the first note is heard. Ted Lazaris song gives a strong vocal performance that takes the music to a higher level. That may be a blessing and a curse, as the song plays on, it does not elevate after the first verse. It works well as a soundtrack to an inspiring movie, though, as any piece of the song can carry itself in any emotional scene
