Italo 'Tal' Naccarato, the Flatpick & Fingerstyle Roots & Country Blues Player, Composer, Touring Artist and occasional street singer: (Guitar, Banjo, Blues Harp,Vocals) was born in the in the Apennine mountain range in the South of Italy, raised in NYC, and currently resides in both the Hudson Valley and in Louisville, KY. He splits his time these days between Louisville, Nashville, New Orleans, the Florida Keys, the Hudson Valley, NYC, (and everywhere in between) touring in his RV motor home.
Tal was most recently featured as a Solo Acoustic Performer at the 'MerleFest' Festival in North Carolina, and has deservedly taken his place amongst the very best players of Country Blues worldwide performing his own original brand of Roots & Folk Blues music.

Tal was also recently featured as a Solo acoustic performer, opening the 50th Season for Phil Shapiro's 'WVBR' Weekly Radio show ‘Bound for Glory’ at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY: a regularly scheduled live audience broadcast, the longest running live radio broadcast of it's kind in North America. boundforglory
Tal’s solid songwriting skills, easily identifiable vocal style quirky 'behind the beat' tempos, signature slide guitar technique and fresh authentic and unique approach to the genre has cemented his slot in the Roots & Folk Blues world as a superlative, highly original traditional player and composer with a deep love for Roots Blues, Folk & Country Blues music.
When not playing a Festival , Club or Recording date Tal can sometimes be spotted performing on the streets of NYC, Nashville, New Orleans, the Florida Keys, Amsterdam, Rome, or Paris, playing traditional American Roots music and "following the weather" in the Roots Blues / Country Blues, Folk Singer tradition.
